Why do we like this?

Big news of the week? Modest Mouse have announced a new album.

It's titled Strangers To Ourselves and will be available March 3rd. For those of you keen to hear what they'll sound like, you're in luck: today a new single titled "Lampshades On Fire" has been released by the band.

Die-hard Modest Mouse fans will probably find themselves enjoying this track. It maintains a lot of the band's core sound, managing to keep interesting all the while avoiding any modern gimmicks.

Overall? Stoked.
