Why do we like this?

Modern Nomad's newest LP, A Trip to Magic Hotel, features a fruity selection of summertime haze. "It Might Be Over (Ft. Avid Dancer)," the third track off the album, is perfect for a sluggish day in the heat.

Faint distortion trails off under lethargic vocals. Channeling Mac DeMarco lyricism and hypnagogic guitar riffs, its atmosphere is nurturing and dreamy. I can only imagine the fantastic array of effect pedals that went into the track.

If you're looking for something mellow to ease you into your weekly responsibilities, this may be your antidote.
