Talk about an amazing combination! Washed Out has decided to tackle Moby's "Almost Home," off the album Innocents, and the result is without a doubt one of my favorite chillwave remixes ever.
The song features Seattle-based Damien Jurado, who Moby discovered while listening to the radio in LA. The story goes that he "fell in love wiht his voice - this most beautiful, vulnerable, pristine, angelic voice."
Moby was so inspired that he invited Damien to collaborate on the track "Almost Home" (already a completed track at the time), and the rest is history. With Washed Out's distinguished touch, this one all comes together in a fantastic manner.
