Why do we like this?

One of Michigan's best kept secrets is 14KT. The Ypsilanti beatmaker and producer has long been carrying the tradition of the mitten in sonic excellence. After a string of solo projects, KT is currently bodying a new wave sound with Mayer Hawthorne as Jaded, Inc.

The cause célèbre today, however, is a side job. A few weeks ago, KT decided to remix "Thru," a slow burner from up-and-coming songstress Mizan. KT strips the track down to its essentials, adding even more mood to the pensive track. These two should do more work!
