Equal parts cinematic orchestration and down-by-the-beach California cool, Sweden's MIYNT defies genres on her latest single "The Strangest Game." Her first musical offering since last summer's "Civil War," this well-timed and surprising release uses her nebulous, soft vocals to match the subject matter.
According to the artist:
"The Strangest Game is a love song. It’s about the first phase of falling in love, when the person that you’re falling for is still a mystery and everything you do with this person feels very exciting."
A relatable feeling enhanced by her gauzy coos and swooning production, it conveys the intoxicating feeling of dizzying infatuation. This track, along with her forthcoming EP were produced by Daniel Nigro -- an industry leader who's worked with big names such as Sky Ferreira and Carly Rae Jepson.
The EP, entitled simply EP No. 1, will be available September 16 via B3SCI records. Preorder here and prepare for more beautiful indie-pop creations from the artists.
