Why do we like this?
I absolutely loved this song after first listen. Anyone who likes the cello will understand what I mean -- the low, deep sound instantly takes you to a haunting, winter landscape. The melody picks up at around 2:00, with spunky beats and some vocals reminiscent of Joanna Newsom.

With the lovely echoes and subtle undertones, it's not surprising that "Sea Monster" comes from Mire Kay, a Swedish project comprised of two very talented ladies: Emelie Molin and Victoria Skoglund, both from the band Audrey. This single comes off of their debut EP Fortress, which will be released April 1.
