Why do we like this?
Captured Tracks is an indie label based in Brooklyn, and I've recently had the pleasure of stumbling upon some of their extremely talented artists. Last week, I posted a track by the curious artist Mac Demarco, who is signed to the savvy label. This week, I give you MINKS and their wavy, relaxing track titled "Everything's Fine."
Frontman/songwriter Sonny Kilfoyle and producer/engineer Mark Verbos are a force of nature, creating some sensational melodies. They describe their upcoming project, Tides End, on their homepage as "not just a romantic trip into isolation, but a melodic and warm experience to immerse yourself in. It's a pop record, with all the hooks and harmonies you'd expect from that, delivered with experience, depth and hope."
