mindfreakkk takes me way back into a soft pop space that I haven't been to in a while.
There's a very specific image I get when I listen to this track, and it keeps coming back to me, it's a glass of red wine, a dark room, and a noiseless static tv. Why this image you ask? I think it probably sums up the type of frustration this track is expressing. It's a slow almost indifferent frustration, a soft palatable anger but also something we all want to indulge in.
"Chaos Calls" is a perfect example of a slow-burn narrative layered with a new-age soft pop aesthetic.
