Why do we like this?
Milo Mills has dropped a sample-ridden, teaser track off of an upcoming untitled EP, and it has cheered up my desolate SoundCloud feed. It's a quirky (and sexy, amirite?) visitation of Rihanna classic "Birthday Cake." Doesn't seem hard to be "sweeter than a rice cake," but theres something fun and light about the intro that makes me feel like being healthy for a bit (I won't try to hide it).
Dig into Mills' SoundCloud; it's a treasure trove of fresh remixes that invigorate old gems.
Looking forward to an even bigger debut in 2014, and, at a minimum, this song will make getting older feel a little better.
