Why do we like this?

Hackney's Millie Turner is someone worth keeping a close eye on over the next few months, who's amassed over half a milly (Millie? -- sorry) listeners every month on Spotify, despite being pretty fresh on the scene.

This track is her first release of 2019, following a few singles dotted around last year and her debut EP Eyes on You.

Other than her Daughter-esque vocal skills, the thing that really blows me away is how addictive this bop is; it's tinged with summery frills, top-notch electronic production and a couple of "ooohs!" that are so festival-crowd-ready I can picture a mass surge of new people trying to see what all the fuss is about -- and guaranteed they wouldn't be disappointed with what they find.
