This is the third cover I've posted of Miley Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball," and while I'm sure it'll raise a few eyebrows, it's still a pop ballad at its finest. Plus, I really do like Miley's original. So, we've heard HAIM's softer rework and Silver Swans' moody electro cover, and now it's time for something out of left field. Enter Angel Haze.
The latest in the rapper's 30 freestyles in 30 days (check out the unbelievable "Same Love Freestyle"), "Wrecking Ball" is a straight up cover, with Haze swapping rhyming for an amazing singing voice over an acoustic guitar. Haze really gives it her all, and while her raps are often vicious and in your face, here, her voice is a torrent of emotion, fully embracing the heartbreaking end to a relationship.
Is there anything this lass can't do?
