Having recently released her debut EP Glassy Eyes, young Sydney artist Milan is an artist far too talented to remain uncovered for much longer. The multi-instrumentalist/vocalist has been developing her sound over the past couple of years with assistance from noted hip-hop producer Adit Gauchan (Horrorshow) -- a collaboration that has resulted in some pretty special music.
Lead single "Promises" sees Milan at her finest. The smooth, watery production is a great example of the meshing of hip-hop and modern electronica, and provides an excellent undertone for Milan's vocals to take center stage. This girl has some serious pipes -- soulful and sultry while edgy when they need to be. She has all the makings of a star in a genre that's starting to rise again.
