Why do we like this?
It's been a little while since I've picked up on a daytime disco / tropical house / indie folk song like this. I feel like the style was all the rage back in 2013, and I must thank Mike Martinez for bringing it back to the forefront of my listening experience.
The above is meant as no discredit to Mike, either. His style is perfectly modern and I wouldn't necessarily call this "old school" in any sense. He's clearly forging his own path here, and I suppose my only major complaint is that the song is way too short at 1:44 in length. I want more!
