Aussie synth-pop outfit Mihra returns with the dreamy new single "New Horizon."
The solo project of Chevaunne Keleher (from My Elephant Ride), Mihra released their debut album, Hoping For Gold, back in 2016.
After some time away the group are back and readying the release of their long waited sophomore album, Girl and Her Symbols, a concept album whereby;
each song details an individual dream from a month long period of keeping a Carl Jung inspired dream journal.
As distant waves crash into the shore, "New Horizon" begins with a dazzling synth line before Keleher's lush vocals drift over the lively production. There's a touch of the '80s about this one, with the track reminding me of early Bats For Lashes.
It's a welcome return from the quartet and I'm interested to see what they have in store with their next release.
Girl and Her Symbols is set for release November 2018.
