Why do we like this?

The L.A. synth-pop act Monogem is more like a poly gem starring singer/songwriter Jen Hirsh and producer/songwriter Scott Smith.

With Monogem's self-titled EP slated to debut in January 2015 the duo satisfies our musical palates with an electronica cover of Miguel's "Simple Things."

Hirsh's blissful and harmonious vocals cast a sensual euphoria. Much like Monogem's newest single "Stay With Me," this cover is infectious as it is affectionate.
