Why do we like this?
I feel relatively confident saying that this is my favorite style of music right now. It wasn't really possible to create a song like this ten years ago (let alone five), but today there are artists such as Max Cooper and Youandewan creating auditory landscapes that leave me feeling numb and cloudy.
I could probably work to this for hours. While it unfortunately only lasts for about five minutes, hitting "play" on this MP3 will definitely provide you with at least an hour of awesome minimal electronic music.
The remix is of Microtrauma's "Contrast," a track set to be released in March. The duo formed in 1995 and departed ways in 1999, only to get back together four years later. You can listen to their remix of a Max Cooper track here.
