Chicago is a city not only with a lot of music history, but also with a breath of fresh air in the form of young, driven artists. One of these young talents goes by the name of Mick Jenkins.
Jenkins moved from Alabama, where he was born, to the Windy City in 2000. Years later, he returned to Alabama to study PR. It was exactly there, in his sophomore year, where he started to approach rap seriously. I am happy he took that step.
"Jazz" is featured on The Water(s), which got released last August.
Jenkins explained water is synonymous with life's truths, and with that in the back of your mind, I am sure you will appreciate the underlying message that comes with both the track and the project!
