Why do we like this?

Californian native Michl is forging a bright and promising path for himself with his gorgeous brand of R&B-infused electronic pop.

He has just released his second ever single, "When You Loved Me Least," and it's one of those tracks that cause an immediate and undeniable tug at the heartstrings.

With its poignant lyrics, minimalistic yet pulsing production, and a chilling falsetto all combining to make soulful auditory magic, this is one of my favorite tracks so far this year. 

His debut single "Kill Our Way To Heaven" made huge splashes in 2015, and I will be surprised (and sorely disappointed) if this second single doesn't see Michl reaching even higher heights.
