Why do we like this?

So after writing about Michl's second single earlier today, I felt compelled to also share his 2015 debut, which I was late to the bandwagon for!

First single "Kill Our Way To Heaven," followed up by "When You Loved Me Least" three months later, both prove that Michl is going to be a solid fixture in the online music world, and I for one am very excited.

The tracks fit into the very modern sound which has sprung from what I call the 'SoundCloud age' of music making, yet are possessing of age-less wisdom in the introspective, melancholy lyrics Michl pens, creating wonderfully evocative imagery.

Production by Lewis Hughes is also on point at every turn, with a good ear for how to balance minimal, spacial elements in amongst the bigger moments.

I'm a big fan!
