Why do we like this?

Anyone who's a fan of Cotton Jones will be excited to know that Michael Nau will be coming out with a solo album on February 19.

His first single, "Winter Beat," is a step outside and above his previous style, though it's still reminiscent. There's an obvious transformation and growth within Michael Nau's solo work, while the accessibility and infectiousness still remains.

This twangy, lazy indie rock track is a sweet taste of what's in store for Michael's upcoming solo album, Mowing.
