Why do we like this?

Hip-hop is a celebration of a longstanding oratory tradition found in every culture, and arguably is the last standing vestige of poetry as an art form. 

In recent years, it has been reborn as more than an avenue for pop music to reach suburban money. Artists like Kendrick Lamar, Chance The Rapper, and Bostonian Michael Christmas have brought a fresh perspective to MC'ing by being astute, righteous, and fun.  

Christmas' sophomore record What A Weird Day "exudes positivity"  and exemplifies this. In fact, it is easily one of the best hip-hop records of 2015. 

To commemorate this great year and thank "all of (his) fans who kept a big ass smile" on his jovial face, Christmas has released "Big Ass Smile." Trust us when we say it will do exactly what the title says, leave you with a big ass smile... ear to ear!
