Why do we like this?
Yep you read right, Miami Horror are back with a brand new single after three long, long years. Premiered last night on Triple J radio, "Real Slow" sees the return of the indie electronic band from Melbourne with a little help from Superhumanoids' female lead Sarah Chernoff on vocals.
The single plays very much like it states -- real slow. Not that this is a particularly bad thing, but it definitely lacks a bit of punch and vibrancy. It's just a bit disappointing when you've waited three years for any new material, and then don't hear Josh Moriarty's vocals on the new single. I am, however, liking the groovy piano tones and overall funkiness of the single.
Not to fear though folks, I'm almost sure that we'll be able to pick out a lot of good things from the upcoming album.
