Why do we like this?

MGMT return with the second single, "When You Die," off the new album. While the first release, "Little Dark Age," held down the fort with lyrics that detailed life on earth, "When You Die" propels one out beyond our galaxy. 

The lyrics are bizarre in their own right, but when coupled with the explosive visuals of the official video, the entire experience is one big trip. "When You Die" may just be the perfect dose of other-worldliness for anyone who is looking for something extra terrestrial.  Directed by Mike Burakoff & Hallie Cooper-Novack with VFX Supervisor Jamie Dutcher, the video is an impressive piece of art.
