Why do we like this?

I really really dug MGMT's last release "When You Die," which left me pretty keen to hear what they'd be able to pull off on their next single.

Too bad "Hand It Over" ends up, well, letting me down. Maybe that's just because the tempo of the song is ridiculously slow and deflating? Or just... generally... simple and safe and uninspiring?

Argh. All the attitude from their last single is gone on this one. Boring.
