Why do we like this?

This week Metronomy release their fifth album, Summer 08, and the latest single taken from it is lush "Hang Me Out To Dry."

This Robyn collaboration dates back to 2011 during the recording of The English Rivera, but has never seen the light of day until now. 

Joseph Mount's soft delivery sounds great alongside Robyn's lead, and while "Hang Me Out To Dry" does sound like it's from 2010-2011, there's enough originality and freshness for it not to be boring. 

Summer 08 is out this Friday July 1.
