Why do we like this?

I don't know about you, but the new Metric album had little to no impact on my audio-life. On the slip side, their 2003 album Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? found itself playing over and over again.

Today, for some reason or another, I wound up bumping into the track "I.O.U.," the opening track to the aforementioned album. It took roughly 10 seconds before I decided that I needed to dredge this one back up and present it to you as today's Song of the Day.

Hope you enjoy this little injection of female-punk-power-pop music.
