Why do we like this?

It's been a while since we've heard anything new from Canadian synth-pop stars Metric, but early this month they performed a new song on The Strombo Show's International Women's Day special.

"Come On, Angel" is a calming pop number featuring Emily Haines' always welcoming vocals, an intriguing keyboard melody and 80s drum pads. 

It's certainly a little different from the songs on last album, Pagans In Vegas, while still retaining Metric's pop feel, thanks in no part to Haines' glorious vocals.
