Metallic Clouds It's Always Sunny In Scottsdale

Every time I hear a young producer making some great beats, it makes me wish someone had taught me to use Ableton back when I was in high school.  Not that I would be talented enough to put together anything that is half as good as what the newest crop of indie electronic producers are putting out, but hey, a man can dream.

One of these new young guns is the enigmatic Metallic Clouds.  He has barely started college and has already amassed a collection of mixtapes, EPs, and remixes via Bandcamp featuring some of the most on point and interesting tracks that I've heard in a while.  And he's got a sense of humor to boot (See the It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia reference below).

His newest track is called "It's Always Sunny In Scottsdale," and is just the right mixture of chillwave, hip-hop, and ambient soundscapes.  A bunch of ooey-gooey synth goodness riding high on an electronic drum kit sets your mind at ease, helping you to chill out yet still maintain your groove all at the same time.  This is definitely a formula that's working for me, and I can't wait to hear some more.
