Why do we like this?
While most-often cited as an "experimental" band, Menomena's latest single "Heavy Is As Heavy Does" is actually pretty easy to listen to.
The Portland-based band have been going at it since 2000, and will be releasing their fifth album Moms on September 18th via Barsuk records.
Interestingly enough, this is actually the first album they'll be releasing without original member Brent Knopf. The remaining members Justin Harris and Danny Seim didn't look to replace him -- instead they forged ahead as a duo. Perhaps that explains the approachable sounds of "Heavy Is As Heavy Does."
