Queens, New York gets the MONEY, and artist Meluchis comes with it on her freshman release from 2016 titled: "Making My Millions."
There's a confidence in her voice when she speaks that resonates strongly on the raw verses to this track. She playfully mentions Pablo Escobar referring to him as her uncle while cleverly referencing his infamous tagline: "Plata O Plomo."
Her chants become more and more infectious as the song develops, to the point that you will find yourself repeating them alongside her catchy vocals throughout the entire tune.
As I stated before, they are raw, both in verbal and visual form.
Art from any artist at their very finest is found within the most honest of their own emotions. That's what I love here, that she showcases who she is, how playful she can be, what she really thinks of herself and how she sees the world, without fear of being persecuted for it.
From fearlessness always comes the best of any art form, and she is one of the best I have seen and heard in a very long while.
