Why do we like this?

I was on the fence with this song. It starts with a lovely melodic progression and then segues into vocals that remind me a lot of Mew. Altogether nice, but not necessarily knocking my socks off.

Then came the cameo by Russian Red. It adds a whole different element to the song - a bit of back and forth. And I reckon that's all I needed to find myself convinced that Melpo Mene's "All Of This Is True" was worth of a share.

The LA-based Swede has enjoyed a fair bit of sync success (TV placements). I have a feeling this latest single might put h im back in the running for more features of that sort.
