Today I spent some time in a game-shop, a comic and game shop to be exact.
Walking through all the isles looking at the different games, I imagined the covers coming to life, the contents moving, it was like they were all playing – it was like watching games at play. Sounds weird maybe, but it was peaceful.
"allure" was the soundtrack that was playing in my head. Sun streaming through the window, secret worlds unfolding to only those innocent eyes not looking, but rather seeing. If you know what I mean.
Innocence. That's the feeling I captured today, and the feeling Mellow's Myth creates in "allure."
I'm reminded of a quote I read last night from a book called Jitterbug Perfume; "When we accept small wonders, we qualify ourselves to imagine great wonders." If we allow ourselves to feel innocence, then we are open to allure – the feeling of being powerfully and mysteriously fascinated – and thus, love. Right? Seems right to me.
