Why do we like this?
You'd hate to be caught in rough waters without a paddle; rain and wind crashing into you from all angles. Then why do we like music that makes us feel like that?
There are tunes that make me feel enraged, depressed, and dizzy, yet I'll still readily listen to them.
Music allows us to have experiences without ever actually enduring them. It's why I sometimes like sad music.
mellowdine's "Apart" is transportive in every sense of the word. The clear production aids in the songs emotive clarity. For me, it was white water rafting, but whichever scene "Apart" evokes in your mind's motion picture, just remember, it's only a song.
