Hey Sister/Hey Brother
I can't fathom the effect "No More Excuses" has on me - all I know is that it's a good one.
meija gives me a soft little intro and then slams me with new age anxiety and a swirling guitar that weeps and distorts over a crunchy drum set. The vocals are a soft and relatable flow that not only reintroduces you to feelings we all have, but it also just comforts — for a track this loud, it also just holds your hand and tells you it's OK.
"No More Excuses" takes the lead in every way - it's big and angsty but still shows you the way.
