Meija, a project from Los Angeles-based songwriter and producer, Jamie Sierota, has gotten quite the praise since the beginning of his journey under this alias last year. Earlier this year, he released "Kid" through popular French label, Kitsuné Musique. Big stuff. He also premiered debut album, So Long, Kid, towards the end of 2019, featuring lead indie pop single, "Buttons," on it.
In comes Tyzo Bloom, a friend of meija, remixing "Buttons." He doesn't overdo it. Instead, he opts for a casual approach to progress the electronic foundation already incorporated. It seems Bloom adds a tad more energy to the track, deepening the synth layers and soundscape. A perfect compliment to the original. Tyzo Bloom has an upcoming EP to be released late this spring.
