Why do we like this?

Following on from the impressive alternate rock of "Numb," Meg Myers has delivered the subdued ditty "Tourniquet."

Eschewing the '90s vibes of her previous single, "Tourniquet" incorporates atmospheric synths centered around a haunting piano line that reminds me of Bats For Lashes.

Myers lyrics compare a love to drug addiction and how being in love with someone is causing her pain, with the LA-based artist's cathartic vocals brimming with emotion. 

Myers' new album Take Me To The Disco is set for release July 20th.
