Why do we like this?

RIPPLS is the second album from Medasin, a talented producer from Dallas who started making music at a young age. He has garnered some attention with great remixes for tracks like "Feel it Still" and "When Am I Gonna Lose You." Now, with two albums and a handful of singles and collaborations, Medasin is quickly gaining traction in his own right.

The album covers a lot of different sounds and styles, and while I personally was not a huge fan of some of the tracks with vocals, the album as a whole flows nicely and is well produced. Thanks to some interesting sound design and attention to detail, the album sounds a bit futuristic.

"Endless Endeavor" is one of those tracks that has a lovely ambient feeling while still having some groove to it. Beautiful layering of bass and harmonious chords make this track stand out. I definitely recommend this album, it's perfect for a lonesome listen if you want to still be able to focus on your thoughts.
