Why do we like this?

New duo Mechanitis has just popped up on SoundCloud today with the most beautiful debut single.

Comprised of German producers Harnes Kretzer and Niklas Paschburg, the pair have employed the vocals of Australian singer-songwriter Tanya Batt (1/2 electronic duo BATTS) on their self-titled debut offering.

The track is a wonderful soundscape which washes over the listener with wave upon wave of emotive ambience, desolate melodies, and an overall sense of awe and beauty. Well worth a listen!
