Why do we like this?

Paraffin is a flammable substance typically found in candle wax. In this context, it is used to describe the warm and flickering feeling of devotion to someone else.

On "Paraffin," Meadowlark create a simple and infectious sonic watercolor. Kate McGill's dulcet vocals flow over wavering chords and gusts of shimmering notes. Blooming with emotion, the Bristol duo spin a pastel vision of love. 

If you enjoy the soft musical style of Oh Wonder, you're really going to love this artist. In fact, Meadowlark's debut EP, Dual, was produced by Oh Wonder's Ant West, which may explain the similarity in sound.
