Why do we like this?

It's been over a year since we premiered mdnt's track "Deamcatcher," and he's back with another soothing piece. If Sam Smith and Frank Ocean got together, and were involved in some nuclear accident causing them to be one, "1v1" would probably be the outcome. It has the falsetto manner of Sam Smith and the smoothness of Frank Ocean. 

Not only is mdnt's singing impeccable, but The Theorist's production value is excellent, too. Don't get us wrong -- we can dig some a capella action from time to time -- it's just sometimes a beat can really make a track for the vocalist. 

Sometimes Tuesdays can be even more hectic than Mondays, so let "1v1" settle things down for you. The subtleties of this track will help you drift away in no time.
