Why do we like this?

What if the 'com' in Romcom stood for competition?

All creative industries would be affected. Brand sponsorship, divisive allegiances, and Illicit gambling rings would flourish like weeds across all art forms. Sure, that means artists might take home a bit more boodle to their banks, but how long would it be until the 'Rom' becomes redundant.

Seeing as 2020 has invited the unexpected through our front door, and literally anything could be next, I'll be putting my money behind McClenney to win big when Romance becomes a competition.

What makes me so confident in my horse? McClenney has a debut LP forthcoming, a sample of which is "just stay." Charming stuff, right?
