Why do we like this?

By golly gosh, I love Max Cooper's music. There's something about it that is simultaneously intricate and easy-going, a vibe that's no simple feat to pull off.

"Waves" comes as the UK artist's latest release, off his upcoming sophomore album Emergence. It's available for pre-order here, and promises an "epic, operatic, ambitious amalgamation between audio-visual show, scientific research project, art installation and IDM record."

Based on the car ride I shared with Max on the way up to LA, this is going to be one that's not-to-miss. Rest-assured, I'll be keeping tabs on its progress.
