Sounds like:
Afrojack,
Alesso,
Calvin Harris
Why do we like this?
I just spent a month living in Amsterdam, and not once did it cross my radar that Vicetone were from a city nearby called Groningen. Perhaps that's because we've never actually featured them on Indie Shuffle, even though for me, their name is totally familiar.
So in light of that, it's high time we give them their debut on the website. And what better way than with their progressive house remix of Matthew Koma's "One Night."
The original song -- driven by poppy synth work and Matthew's fun.-esque vocals -- actually managed to hit #12 on the charts in Ukraine, of all places. It's definitely a bit cookie cutter, but works well intertwined with house twist added by Vicetone.
The official remix will be available in the United States on May 21st, but those of you in Europe can grab it on iTunes now.
