Why do we like this?

It's popular to be chill at the moment. Relaxed is the new upbeat and smooth is the new energized. And British singer-songwriter Matt Woods is definitely producing the right material to shine in the current climate.

His first EP was more of a reflective indie-leading number, but with this latest track, we're meeting a more 'plugged in' Matt. It's important for artists to be able to seamlessly morph between similar genres and ride out the modern music scene's fickle phases of styles and popular. With Matt, his exceptional offerings in the indie music sector means I'm definitely keeping an ear out for the next EP.

P.S. Anyone else hear remnants of Damage "Ghetto Romance" in here?
