Hailing from Brooklyn, MATT and KIM started playing together in 2004 after meeting at the Pratt Institute. In the five years since forming they've built up a cult following drumming at warehouse parties and filming messily bloody videos that were often deemed too violent for America. Europe has a stronger stomach it seems.
'Daylight' is a track from their second album, 'Grand', which is set for release on June 22nd. The dancefloor filling opus was recorded in the wilds of Vermont, the pair setting up camp in Matt's parents' house, with only three cow pastures to distract them. - NME Daily Download
