Matt & Kim released their third album
Sidewalks on November 2 to much fanfare. Together as a band since 2004, the duo have gained notoriety for their on-stage (and music video) presence, which often involves inhuman levels of energy (and sometimes the
throwing of food). While they've had significant commercial success, it's nice to see that the tracks on this newer album don't lose the original spunk that made the band so loved in the first place.
Can the anthems become tiresome? Perhaps. Does it drain a lot of energy to get through this album? Probably. Will they blow your socks off at a live performance? Undoubtedly!
