Why do we like this?
Matt Duncan's single, "Lone Ranger," is a testament to the easy listening rock of decades past, causing the line between past and present to be impressively blurred.
The relaxed tempo lays the foundation for a track that takes its sweet time. That doesn't mean the energy and innovation are absent (quite the opposite). The electric guitar and piano perfectly compliment each other as the vocals and harmonies beautifully orchestrate layers of angelic tones. As the track is graced with horns and tambourine, they leave as quickly as they came, leaving the listener to set the track to repeat at least a few more times. "Lone Ranger" is a timeless composition with an appeal for multiple generations.
