Wait, don't go anywhere! The first few seconds of this track might throw you off, but it's totally worth it. I swear.
You may recognize the lead vocals on Mating Ritual as sounding a whole lot like Pacific Air. That's because this happens to be the side-project of one-half of the aforementioned band: Ryan Lawhon.
He's released a few tracks to date, but this experimental single "Moonlight" caught our attention as refreshingly different when compared to a lot of other material being released these days. It's notably brooding, but I have a feeling that the risky use of a jarring introduction will rope in a number of first-time listeners.
End result? A must listen.
