Why do we like this?

One advantage to spending a big chunk of last week disconnected from the happenings of the internet was that there's no a long backlog of songs I'm sifting through.

Mating Ritual's "Hum Hum" came out roughly five days ago. You may recognize the sound from prior coverage; or, perhaps your ears were sharp enough to connect the dots to Pacific Air, his other band.

Bottom line, it's a catchy piece of powerful indie rock that hints at some pretty positive things to come.
