Why do we like this?

The British singer/songwriter Mark Peters has put out "24 Years," one of the new tracks off his recent EP, Spirits.

Accompanied by a Coldplay-esque black and white montage of Peters wandering in the cold, we're able to put a face to the foot-tapping acoustic guitar riffs and nonchalant vocals. Below the pop-centric songwriting lies elements of Americana and even some alternative country.

Put it all together, and wow—depression never looked so sexy.
